In a Land Art-work there should not be an illustrative aspect. A work in Situ, Land Art or Art in Nature plays with light and space, is abstract by its existence, is symbolic and does have its challenges for the artist having to cope with weather, light and time. The artist´s playground is the outside world with its enigmas. Works of art should not furnish the landscape. Site-specific works can be also interactive as they address human nature too. We as humans are part of nature and should not forget about this.
