“Desert Star” This work is made for the Palmer Sculpture Biennial 2010. It is a colour and space concept in the mountains “Flinders Range” in S-Australia near Adelaide. The material is red and yellow sand of this region. The size is approximately 130m long and 75m wide. The work goes around a peak of a higher pinkish granite hill and situated on an arid area near the little village Palmer. It will disappear after some time with the strong winds and winter rains.
