Sporàdica - sporàdico adj. [from lat. sporadĭcus, gr. σποραδικός “scattered,” der. of σποράς -άδος
(from σπείρω “to sow, to scatter”)]
Sporàdica originates in a former serpentine quarry, listening and relating to the landscape, where,
slowly and inexorably, the signs of human beings are swallowed up by a rebellious, lush nature. The
landscape is the starting point and an integral part of the process, gradually transforming and
emerging. An intricate web of invisible motions and subtle connections slowly comes to light: it is
our intent to capture them, emphasize them, and return their complexity and vibrancy. Sporàdica
contains within itself the stony ruggedness of the place, intertwined with the sinuosity of the
vegetation and the presence of the wild animals that guard and inhabit it. Sporàdica invites us to
observe the landscape, its cracks and openings, lowering us into a geological time and space, the
body emerges from the rock opposing gravity and composing a score of gestures and breaths that draw
strength and consistency from the stone itself, dissolve in it, pulsate with it, blurring the
boundaries between human, plant and mineral. Sporàdica takes place without the aid of technical
equipment for sound or lighting: it happens in the sunlight, tuning to the sound that the environment
itself composes. https://collettivomicorrize.art/progetti/sporadica/
