I like the idea of showing that in the visible there is the invisible. I like to inspire the joy of thinking about possibilities, about what could be. I like the moment of surprise that bring us into the “here and now”.

Between nature and culture, Cornelia Konrads’ works are always in dialogue with the place that hosts them, its architecture, its topography, its flora, its history. She is inspired by forms present in the landscape to divert them and better reveal their poetic, comic or mysterious aspect. Her in situ installations, permanent or ephemeral, aim at creating unstable moments, spaces of uncertainty close to catastrophe that humorously defy the laws of gravity and construction.
