Woest & Bijster - Renkum forest 2018 - Netherlands
The installation pays tribute to the rays of light filtered between branches and leaves. The colors are reminiscent of those so varied of autumn. The rotating movements of cones evoke the cycle of seasons in this period of transition of forests. The music will combine the natural sounds of the four seasons: singing birds, buzzing insects, rain, storms and winds, and mix them with the vibrant sounds of the ribbons. Surrounding real sounds and recorded and composed sounds will be nested creating an acoustic disturbance.
