Looking from the dark wood to the light plane of the Great Moor in Drenths Friese Wold (NL), the
cyclist sees in the middle of the cycleway, high between two trees, a monumental art work that reminds
of a stained glass window. But instead of a religious performance it shows a wood scene in bright
colours. The surrounding wood frames the art work; both obtain attention, which brings both to a
higher level. The art work softly balances in the wind, it plays with the sun, it connects with the
wood in front of de moor and the sky on the background. That is my myth of nature.
