A little old table, acquired through my sons’ friends’ mother, challenged me to research if I could
obtain a solid shape with textile, treated with fabric-hardener. The little table should be able to
stand up alone. With only fabric that turned out to be impossible. After a long process and a lot of
disappointments I obtained solidity by using a wooden core. This knowledge enabled me to bring
together the solidity of wood with the softness and curvedness of fabric. I draped the tables with my
most special fabrics from all over the world.
