Reclamation Site #1 Bundanon- site specific installation-hand stitched ghost gum leaves 5m long.
This work was made in response to the colonial garden at the property of Australian artist Arthur
Boyd, where the wild native forest and high rocky escarpments loomed over the property, seeming to be
about to take over the site. It was made during a six-week residency and is hand stitched leaves
collected from the native eucalyptus variety “Ghost Gum”. The finished work was situated in the
historic homestead, spilling forth from the fireplaces and photographed.
