Christina Martin

Christina Martin

In her artistic practice, Christina Martin embraces a multidisciplinary approach that puts different
materials and techniques into dialogue with an intuitive and sensory approach. Each project is a dive
into matter, where textures and emotions respond to each other to tell a story. Her background in
floristry, sewing, and visual arts shapes her perspective and her relationship with materials. Through
her creations, she appropriates history, everyday life, and the passage of time. Between softness and
raw strength, her work seeks to capture the essence of things and to weave a sensitive connection with
the viewer. Accumulation and nature are driving forces in her practice. Places, colors, and textures
nourish her creative process, guided by an almost childlike spontaneity, where art is not thought but
lived, as a necessity.

Christina Martin gives as much importance to form as to emotion. Each work is born from a balance
between control and letting go, where questions, connections, and sensations mingle. Thus, art uses
her to exist, and she uses art to express herself. Her practice can be summed up as taking a feeling
as it is, observing it, expressing it, and showing it.
