In the project Crossing the Borders, twelve artists create their own artwork around the dragon’s teeth of the Siegfried Line near Aachen. I give them a robe, to temporarily transform them into a unique installation that emphasizes their aesthetic shape and forces the viewer to look at their surroundings with different eyes. The dragon’s teeth refer to the Second World War in a different way, this time not to battle and destruction, but to beauty and multicoloredness.
