Freshly planted! As a large-scale project, it gives a glimpse of something big. Ninety-nine
triangular columns stretch across a large area, reminiscent of growth sleeves designed to protect
young seedlings. Is a forest to be created here? What is actually being reforested here? It is okay
to be confused, to look closely and question things; that is part of my concept. For now, 99
thoughts are allowed to wander around the corner, because the triangular objects are made of used
election posters. The backs of the posters face outwards, while the insides reveal only a sky blue
from the poster motifs. The delicate plants, representing fresh ideas, are meant to grow into the
sky!
99 triangular objects laid out over a large area, as if a new forest were planned here. What at
first glance looks like a reforestation project appears, on closer inspection, to be an exciting
thought experiment. The freshly planted tree symbolises new ideas and a future worth protecting.
